 Jennie’s Story. The Book That Made Jennie so happy,  And The Legacy I’m Carrying Forward no matter what.

We wrote Jennie’s Bed Time Story for Jennie, we talked about it, drafted it, then

I it did.

It made Jen light up in a way I’ll never forget, that moment was unforgettable, Jen went telling the neighbours, telling everyone with that beautiful smile Jen always held.

It wasn’t just a book.

It was something much deeper… something more personal… something that belonged to Jennie, to us.

Jennie survived more than most people ever knew.

She carried scars from a past she never deserved from past relationships that she had never told no one else other than me, her soulmate, best friend that Jen trusted me with them things, them stories.

Jens fears.

Jens memories.

Jens dreams.

Jens Love. 

It's just to adults, but to younger children too, children who might one day need the hope, strength and love that Jennie had.

We sat together, day and night, with Jennie telling me the stories and me shaping them into something real.

I wrote the words, but the vision was all Jennies.

Every character, every moment, every feeling, it came from Jen’s heart, and I just brought it to life.

The dedication page in the book… Jennie wrote that herself.

It speaks louder than anything I could ever say.

It’s Jen’s voice.

Jen’s truth.

Jen’s heart.

I had almost finished writing the next story for Jennie.

Sadly, I didn’t get to finish it with Jen sitting beside me, but I’ll finish it for us, because Jen believed in it, and believed in me, just as I believed in Jen for all these years.

My heart will always remain shattered for as long as I live, but my love for Jennie will stay with me, with every breath I have left inside.

This blog is where I’ll be sharing updates, memories, and the real story behind the books. the story of Jennie, the woman behind the dedication, the woman who changed my life, the woman I long for in every heartbeat that will always live inside me.

We created songs together too.

Music was another place where Jens heart lived, another way she expressed the parts of herself she didn’t show the world.

Jens voice, Jens emotion, Jens truth… it’s all there in the tracks we made.

I’ll be sharing some of that here as well the songs, the memories, the moments that shaped us.

Her voice deserves to be heard.

Her story deserves to be shared.

And I’ll keep doing that for as long as I’m here.
